Michele is believed to be the victim of foul play. There is a reward available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone who has harmed her.
Michele's disappearance may also be connected to the case of the disappearance of another young woman named Heather Sellars. Heather worked with Michele at a local Waffle House and disappeared one month after Michele. Heather also was the ex-fiance of Jonathan Vick, who was convicted in 2006 of the murder of Dana Satterfield in Roebuck, S.C. in 1995.
No confirmed connection has yet been proven between the cases.
