I recently reread an article from a local paper that was written shortly after Sheli was found...it was titled, " Your happy ending will be worth the journey"....how true that is!!!! I was unable to insert the article into this page, but just want to remind everyone that in spite of all the pain and sometimes hopelessness we feel during difficult times, NEVER GIVE UP!!! The happy ending will be worth the journey!!! Sometimes the ending to our stories is not what we have wished for, but it can be and we should HOPE that it will be....For us, just knowing where Sheli was would have been a blessing, alive or not!!! That she is alive and part of OUR lives again is the icing on the cake....we have been blessed and will NOT FORGET that....
Sheli's documentary has been postponed again, possibly til early next year....economics is apparently a factor but hopefully it will air soon so that it will help all the other families who are still waiting for their missing loved ones....our story is one of pain and sadness, but also one of HOPE and JOY!!! may all of you who are still waiting be strong until you find your loved ones again....God bless you!!!
We will be seeing sheli next month at her home in the northwest and hope to share a photo or two with you when we return...we are looking forward to spending some quality time with her and enjoying more of our happy ending!!
